"Wow what an amazing birth experience!"

After a magical waterbirth Benjamin John Twigger swam to the surface of the pool (think Nirvana front cover image) and was born at 7.19am on 17th June.  He was 5lb 7oz.  It has taken until now to send this email because after 4hr lovely hours of bonding he was diagnosed with pneumonia so had to be rushed to intensive care where we have been for the last 8 days and nights!  He is a determined, tough and strong young man (can't think where he gets that from!!!) and has improved everyday and is now looking really well.

 

Wow what an amazing birth experience!  Thank you so much for your course it is the best £300 I have ever spent!  The birth was pain free, 5hr 19 mins and very spiritually fulfilling (for both Si & I).

 

My midwife posted on her facebook page that the experience of my birth has given her faith back in her profession.  She was having a confidence crisis and wondering what she was doing as she was finding it disheartening!  The other midwife was also amazed by what she saw and when I discussed my business idea of bringing Hypnobirthing to Winchester with you, have said they would like to support it.
